Come along and see, what is going on in The Kosola House!

See, how the dividing log walls are being erected  back to their original places and how thick are the new board floors. Learn about the benefits of wooden panels, backing papers, clay plasters and other natural building materials. Take a look of how a modern kitchen takes place in an old house. Get to know, what are the ideas we want to put into practice to ensure that the history of this 160 years old house will continue!

The huge size of this Ostrobothnian peasant house makes it all even more interesting!  

To be noticed:

  • As a worksite, Kosolan talo is not suitable for small children
  • The sight is not entirely accessible: stairs and steps
  • Good shoes are recommended
  • Safety instructions are to be followed at all times
